Makeup
- Mime: cover the face with white face paint, keeping it thin and even.
- Mime: draw small black tear shapes or arched brows, and add a touch of red to the lips.
- Others: a little rosy blush on the cheeks for a stage glow.
Hair: Ringmaster: neat and tidy under the hat. Mime: hair tucked back or under a beret. Balloon Seller: tied up to keep it off the face.
How to put it together
- Person 1 puts on the white shirt and blazer, then the tall hat.
- Person 2 wears a striped shirt with black trousers and adds face paint.
- Person 3 wears the red top and holds a bunch of balloons.
- Line up like a circus parade and perform a silent bow together.
Two variations
Rainbow Circus
Swap the palette for bright rainbow colors, with colorful scarves and glittery hats.
Vintage Circus
Use cream and brown tones with old-fashioned suspenders and flat caps.
Safety note
Use skin-safe face paint with a patch test and keep it away from eyes. Keep balloon strings short and away from little children, and check hats do not block your view.
