1. The Service

Costume Closet suggests Halloween costumes based on clothes you say you own, and can create an AI-generated preview image of a costume, either from a photo you provide or as a generic figure. Recommendations are free. Previews use credits.

AI-generated images may be imperfect and may not accurately represent the costume or you. Costume ideas are suggestions only.

2. Who can use it (18+)

The Service is intended for adults. Photo previews are available only to people aged 18 or over, and only for photos of yourself or of an adult who has agreed. Photos that appear to show a minor are rejected. Generic previews (no photo) remain available.

3. Your photos and consent

• You must have the rights to any photo you upload and the consent of anyone shown in it.
• By ticking the consent box you confirm you are 18 or older, that the photo is of you (or an adult who agreed), and that you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• Your photo is sent to an AI provider (Google) to create the image and is deleted from our servers within 1 hour.
• Do not upload explicit, unlawful or third-party content you have no rights to. We may block requests that violate these rules.

4. Credits and payment

• One preview costs 1 credit. New visitors may receive one free preview credit; free previews include a visible watermark.
• Credit packs are one-off purchases (no subscription), paid through Razorpay. Prices are shown in US dollars. Any sales tax that applies is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
• Credits never expire. If a preview fails on our side, the credit is refunded automatically.
• Credits are added only after we receive payment confirmation from Razorpay.

5. Immediate delivery and right of withdrawal

Before you open the payment window you tick a box agreeing to immediate delivery of digital credits, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once credits are delivered. We record the time of that agreement with your purchase.

6. Refund policy

Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase at our discretion where required by law; used credits are not refundable. To request a refund, contact [email protected].

7. Generated images

Generated images are for your personal use. All images are labelled as AI-generated and may carry provider provenance marks. Free previews carry a Costume Closet watermark.

You are responsible for how you use and share generated images. Costume names and descriptions in the catalogue are generic archetypes and do not refer to any brand, film, game or character.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the Service, including by attempting to bypass free-credit limits, automating requests, or probing for vulnerabilities.

9. Availability and liability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis and we may pause previews at any time (for example when our budget is exhausted). To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
