Makeup
- Skeleton: cover the face in white face paint, then blend it toward the hairline and jaw.
- Skeleton: outline the eye sockets and nose with black, and add lines across the mouth for teeth.
- Mummy: add gray smudges and a few paper strips near the eyes, if wanted.
- Vampire: keep skin pale with a touch of dark shading around the eyes.
Hair: Vampire: slick hair back with a little gel. Mummy: pin hair up so wraps sit neatly. Skeleton: pull hair away from the face so the paint shows.
How to put it together
- Person 1 puts on the white shirt and black trousers, then fastens the cape.
- Person 2 wraps bandages loosely over white clothes, leaving room to move.
- Person 3 wears all black; add white skeleton markings.
- Do the face paint together, then pose as a spooky trio.
Two variations
Glow Trio
Add glow tape to the skeleton's bones and the mummy's wraps for evening trick-or-treating.
Silly Monsters
Give each monster a goofy grin and a tiny wobbly bow tie or hat.
Safety note
Use skin-safe face paint with a patch test and keep paint away from eyes. Wrap bandages loosely, keep capes short and clear of feet, and keep red marks to tiny stylized stains.
