Makeup
- Use a soft brown or black eyeliner pencil to line the eyes for the Pirate.
- Draw a small stylized stubble or beard shadow with eyeliner, if wanted.
- The Castaway can smudge a few light dirt streaks on the cheek.
Hair: The Pirate wears hair loose and tousled or tied back. The Castaway ruffles hair for a wind-swept, sun-bleached look.
How to put it together
- Person 1 puts on the white shirt, black trousers and boots.
- Person 2 puts on the casual shirt and khaki pants, then adds raffia strips.
- Both add light eyeliner and hair styling to look weathered.
- Add optional bandana, belt and sunglasses, then act out a rescue.
Two variations
Two Pirates
Both wear bandanas and boots, with one in red stripes and one in black.
Island Explorers
Trade the pirate look for sun hats and vests, and add a paper map.
Safety note
Use skin-safe eyeliner and do a patch test first. Keep hats and bandanas from blocking vision, and secure raffia so it does not trip anyone.
