Makeup
Hair: Keep hair away from your face so you can see clearly.
How to put it together
- Cut arm holes and a neck opening in the cardboard box.
- Wrap the box in foil and press it flat.
- Add foil dials and buttons on the front.
- Try on and adjust so you can walk and move your arms.
- Add LED lights, gloves or dark pants to finish.
Two variations
Vintage Robot
Draw dials and buttons with marker and add a foil funnel hat.
Glow Bot
Add LED lights along the edges for a glowing look.
Safety note
Ask an adult to cut the cardboard and smooth rough edges. Make sure you can see, walk and sit comfortably, and keep LEDs away from foil edges.
